BIO - She's heard all the stories. Most of them based on the now historically documented death of Greedo, the Rodian bounty hunter that tried to bring Han Solo to justice in Jabba's court. The stories claim that Rodian bounty hunters are clumsy and naive. You see, Greedo was set-up to fail by a group of Rodians from a rival clan that had tracked him across the galaxy. All those stereotypes based on one death. Gimrick had known Greedo before his family has fled Rodia. It was inevitable that he would die foolishly. The reason the stories never bothered her though, was because they were about Rodian males, of which she was not. Gimrick dropped her apprenticeship soon after the Battle of Yavin. The Death Star had been destroyed and the Empire was putting bounties on the heads of anyone thought to be associated with the Rebels. It was a good time to be a bounty hunter, especially one regarded positively by Darth Vader. Her father, Wald, had grown up with the boy that became Darth Vader on the planet Tatooine. Gimrick had missed her opportunity to become a big wig, when she missed a gathering of the top bounty hunters on the Star Destroyer "Executor." She had been summoned by Lord Vader, but was too far across the galaxy to make it to Hoth in time for the assignment. To make up for the loss, she deguised herself as a back-up singer named "Greeata" in Max Rebo's band at Jabba the Hutt's palace to capture Luke Skywalker for Prince Xizor of Black Sun. Her one real chance to catch Luke was spoiled by a red-headed human female who was a dancer for Jabba. After the death of Darth Vader, jobs became much more scarce. Gimrick concentrated her efforts to Hutt Space: Nar Shaddaa and Nal Hutta. After three years of collecting bounties from Hutts, she was tracked down by Imperial remnants. Vice-Admiral Blazon, who was heading a secret weapons testing project, contracted her for work. She was given a list of three people to bring back alive within two months. Gimrick was good. She completed her tasks in a month and a half. Upon her return, Vice-Admiral Blazon informed her that the three men were no longer needed and that he would not be paying her for cancelled bounties. Gimrick couldn't believe that something like this could happen. It wouldn't have happened under the glove of Vader. She could tell the Bounty Hunters' Guild, but they have no power against the strength of the Empire, so she took matters into her own hands. Stepping right up into his face, she hopelessly argued her case. All of a sudden, Gimrick's long-barreled sniper rifle, which had been at her side the whole time, muzzel up, went off firing a blast through the throat of the unesuspecting officer, dropping him dead to the floor in mid-speech. Gimrick could only smirk as she thought, "No male Rodian could have ever been this sly."
Gimrick made it to her ship and away from the Star Destroyer before anyone discovered Vice-Admiral Blazon's fate. To get back at the Imperials a little more, Gimrick returned the pawns she had been hired to catch back where she found them. Blazon's replacement, Colonel Jag Tannin, did not post an official warrant for her arrest. To this day, Gimrick's where-abouts are known only to those with a job for her.

NOTES -
Gimrick = a combination of the words gimmick and limerick. just thought of it one day. it doesn't really mean anything.

Haas = a name usually associated with cowboys or ranchers. since the old west was also associated with bounty hunters, I thought it was fitting.
